Emad Abdo Labib, a relative of the Coptic Christians imprisoned in Jabal Al-Tair village in Samalout, north Minya governorate (Upper Egypt,) sent an urgent appeal to MCN. He said the twelve Copts imprisoned in Samalout police station due to the incidents in the village last Monday are routinely tortured and cursed at.
