Egyptian government defends self by repeating info about human rights, reneges on pledges

Egypt is to submit Wednesday morning for a session before the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva in the framework of a periodic review mechanism organized by the Council for the member states every four years. It is expected that the Egyptian government will answer the questions of more than 120 countries about the implementation of the commitments announced already by the Egyptian government during the 2010 periodic review session.
